Now Enrolling All Grades
Our Online Academy features award-winning curriculum and tuition-free enrollment for grades K-12, with drop-in resource centers located around the valley. Our partnership with Grand Canyon University allows us offer dual enrollment opportunities to earn college credits.
We are proud to be fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
LEAO is an online distance learning program for Elementary through High School. Work can be completed any time during the day or week. However, to help students stay on pace, Resource Centers are provided in various locations to support student learning.
At each Resource Center, students are under the supervision of highly qualified professionals to complete core coursework.
Core Classes, including Electives, are completed through online classes. Resource Centers offer in-person, certified staff where students can meet with instructors and participate in collaborative learning opportunities
Each student must complete a minimum of 30 hours a week. Students are able to log in time at the Resource Center or on their own time via the Internet.

We offer multiple pathways for our students, including partnership with Grand Canyon University and Central Arizona College (Maricopa) to offer dual enrollment opportunities for students in Grades 10-12.
The principal is helpful, the teachers are attentive, the courses are challenging. Focuses on character, not just academics.

This is an excellent school with a very dedicated team of teachers as well as an amazing principle. They pushed me to finish strong and gave me many opportunities and help I needed to succeed. I think this is the best online school in the state with teachers who work tirelessly to understand and help each and EVERY student to succeed.
Graduate / Leading Edge Online Academy
Leading Edge Academy will develop lifelong learners who lead with character and achieve academic excellence by educating the whole child and fostering community and parental partnerships.
Founded in 2002 by Delmer Geesey, a pastor with the vision of starting a top-notch traditional education program, Leading Edge Academy schools began with 17 students. Through word of mouth by satisfied parents, the school began to grow each year. In 2007 The Leading Edge Charter Network took this successful format and expanded to East Mesa. The Leading Edge Charter Network continues to expand and currently has school sites in East Mesa, Queen Creek, Gilbert and Maricopa.
