Student Fees Policy
Leading Edge Academy is committed to providing a high-quality educational experience for every student. There is always a free path to education, and no student will be denied access to core instructional services due to inability to pay.
However, students may choose to participate in optional enrichment opportunities such as athletics, clubs, field trips, special electives, and other extracurricular activities. These activities often require additional fees to help cover associated costs.
Responsibility for Payment
Families are responsible for timely payment of all assigned student fees, including but not limited to:

- Athletics and sports participation fees
- Field trip fees
- Elective course fees
- Club or extracurricular activity fees
- Late pickup fees

Students with an outstanding balance may not participate in any extracurricular activity or field trip until their account has been paid in full. They will be removed from that extracurricular activity or transferred to another elective that does not require a fee.
Application of Payments
Any payments submitted will be applied to the oldest outstanding fee first.
All submitted payments are non-refundable.
Financial Assistance
Leading Edge Academy is committed to ensuring access and opportunity for all families. A financial assistance waiver is available online for families who may need support.
Families requesting assistance must complete and submit the waiver well in advance of the scheduled extracurricular event or activity to allow adequate time for review and possible approval. Submitting a waiver does not guarantee approval. They will be assessed equitably and you will receive a response from the principal. It is highly recommended to submit these as early as possible.
